Aluminum Nitride has many uses in materials processing applications due to its high thermal
conductivity and its high chemical resistance. It is useful for crucibles for semiconductor crystal
growth, such as gallium arsenide and evaporation boats for
melting of aluminum, copper, or other metal alloys, thermocouple
shields, electrical insulators, and grinding media.
Sienna produces AlN crucibles and evaporation
boats, thermocouple shields, insulators, and
grinding media from small laboratory sizes
to large production sizes.
